This Far Hills Lane 2 Project was our 2nd flip home. By the way, our definition of "flip" is to totally and completely change the floor plan/configuration to ensure the homes are much more functional. For this project, we added a newly built powder bathroom, tripled the size of the kitchen, and opened it up by knocking down 3.5 walls. We dubbed this one "The Perfect Party House" with its newly open design and huge kitchen.
Statement Making Design Elements:
Copper Lights...
It's all about mixed metals. The unexpected exterior front porch copper lights are mirrored by the use of interior copper pendant lights above the kitchen island. Polished chrome hardware was used throughout as a compliment to the copper accent lights.
Dutch Entry Door...
Nothing says "Family Home" like a custom dutch door. We added a pop of color because this door is just too pretty to miss.
Gigantic Kitchen Pantry...
There is no such thing as enough storage, especially in the kitchen. We transformed a blank wall and turned it into a humongous pantry. The custom all wood doors match the rest of the custom all wood kitchen cabinets. Win win!
